TALK TO ME, MOTHER…

Give Me Back My Childhood Once More…

There are memories in every human life over which time holds no power. Years pass, countries and cities change, destinies take unexpected turns, and those dearest to our hearts depart from this world. Yet the image of a mother remains forever in the deepest and most sacred corners of the human soul.

In moments of sorrow, loneliness, and separation, I always remember my mother. And then I walk over to the piano, sit down at the keyboard, and begin to play. Music becomes my quiet conversation with her — a conversation in which no words are needed.

Every note carries me back to my distant childhood, to a world where her voice, her tenderness, her loving care, and her boundless maternal love still live within my memories.

Throughout my life, I have travelled many roads and endured countless trials and painful separations. Yet no matter how many years have passed, there are moments when I long for only one thing — to hear my mother's voice once again, to feel the warmth of her hands, and to return, if only for a fleeting moment, to that cloudless childhood which can never truly come again.

And then, once more, my heart whispers the words:

“Talk to me, Mother… Give me back my childhood once more.”
